Goodbye to Arthur

Arthur Chisnall passed away this afternoon after a short spell in the capable hands of the nurses at the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher. It was, of course, very sad, but also a relief to his friends who wished no further suffering on his part. He was visited this afternoon by myself, Sue and Ester and departed not long after we had left him.
